Our members delight in taking their beautiful, well socialized birds "out and about" to entertain and educate.

An * before the date indicates 1 or more of our members will be ‘walking about’ with their birds, handing out brochures. This brochure is an introduction to the delight of birds and an introduction to our club and Annual Show.

* July 1, 2011- Whitby Town Carnival - Oshawa Fireworks

* July 16 or 17 - Dog Days of Summer, Port Perry Museum

* July 23 or 24 - Durham Highland Games, Uxbridge

* August 6 or 7, 2011 – Taste of Danforth Greek Festival, Toronto

August 27, 2011 – Oshawa Centre… All Day …..Members of the DAS will be there with their birds to entertain, educate and promote their club and Annual Show. If you have a question about your bird, ask one of our members. You will find us between McDonald’s and Old Navy.

* August 28, 2011 – Durham Pet Fest, Cullen Gardens, Whitby

Recently our members and there birds enjoyed their outings at the following locations. You may have seen them there.

June 19, 2011 - City of Pickering, Noah's Wish... pet rescue in a disaster situation, including bird care.

June 4, 2011 - Butternut Manor, Uxbridge.

May 26, 2011 - Ajax Girl Guides.
