DAS Meeting Tuesday, March 11, 2008

Speaker was Mark Koenig of Exotic Wings and Pet Things

If you missed the March meeting, then you missed a great opportunity to gather information on the care of your bird.  Mark Koenig is an excellent speaker, who mixes humour with education, making learning a joy for the listener.  Although we didn’t have a huge turn-out, those who were there were obviously enjoying themselves.  Mark answered questions from members, as well as discussing avian care.  There was even information for our DAS breeders.  Before the meeting and during the breaks, we were able to purchase some of the toys, books and supplies that Mark brought with him, so even our feathered companions at home could benefit from his visit.  We have heard Mark speak on many occasions, and we always enjoy hearing him.  Thank you, Mark for another pleasant evening!  And here are photos from our March 11th meeting...
